The center is working with "Kids into Health Careers".

Kids Into Health Careers
A "Kids into Health Careers" project will be developed by project staff and administered to K-12 school districts with the assistance of the Graduate Research Assistant Health Professionals and faculty. Sample presentations provided on the KIHC web site will be reviewed for applicability and revised, if necessary, to accommodate the student population. An interactive KIHC component will be developed for the project web site and K-12 students will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful educational activities focusing on geriatric education.

This section of our site is still under development and will be expanding.

AGHE has also developed two booklets and a videotape detailing and promoting the career opportunities and options available in the field of aging. more...
